By accepting the quote and agreeing to proceed with the services either in person, on the telephone or by email, customers agree to and are bound by the following Blocksave Ltd Terms and Conditions:
‘Blocksave Ltd’ and/or ‘staff member’ includes all staff, agents or contractors working for and on behalf of Blocksave Ltd. ‘Customer’ is the person that is entering into the contract with Blocksave Ltd or their agent, associate or anyone who is representing them regarding the works to be carried out at the specified area. ‘Specified area’ is the area that the customer has specified for proposed works that has been or is due to be measured and quoted for. ‘Agreed time’ is the date and time previously agreed for Blocksave Ltd to deliver the services.
1. QUOTATION
1.1: All measurements that are taken of the specified area for purposes of the quote are approximations.
1.2: Quotes are valid for 30 days. After this time Blocksave Ltd must re-quote unless agreed otherwise.
1.3: Photographs will be taken of the specified area for uses by Blocksave Ltd. These uses may include promotional purposes. No photographs of customers will be taken or used for promotional purposes unless previously agreed in writing.
1.4: Blocksave Ltd reserve the right to amend any quote resulting from the customers change of specification.
2. BLOCKSAVE LTD SERVICES
2.1: Blocksave Ltd will provide all necessary agents/components to provide the service unless agreed with the customer beforehand. Blocksave Ltd will not be held liable for any faults/damages on or to any agents/components that the customer has agreed to provide.
2.2: The surface of the specified area must be free of obstacles for Blocksave ltd to be able to clean the entire specified area. Any obstacles that are left on the specified area will not be moved and will be cleaned around.
2.3: If access to the specified area to be cleaned is agreed beforehand and is not granted at the date and time of the clean the client may be charged for the full amount of the agreed quote.
2.4: Blocksave Ltd will not be held responsible for any alarm systems it may trigger while on or accessing the specified area.
2.5: Blocksave Ltd is fully insured to the requirements and standards of a company registered in England and Wales.
3. PAYMENTS
3.1: Payment for completed services from Blocksave Ltd must be paid by bank transfer no later than seven days after completion of the work or by credit/debit card to a staff member at the time of cleaning via card reader.
3.2: Failure to make payment within the specified payment time will result in the necessary details of the customer being passed to a debt collection agency to recover the debt on behalf of Blocksave Ltd. Upon transferring the outstanding amount to this agency a cost of 15% will be added to the total of the agreed quote to cover this fair and reasonable cost of debt recovery.
4. CANCELLATIONS
4.1: Cancellations must be made in writing to Blocksave Ltd, which may be via email or letter, and may be made up to 48 hours before the agreed time without the customer incurring charges. If cancellation is made in writing to Blocksave Ltd with less than 48 hours before the agreed time 50% of the total amount of the agreed quote will be charged.
5. COMPLAINTS
5.1: All complaints must be addressed, in writing, to Blocksave Ltd which must be via email within 48 hours of completion of the service. Any complaint that is submitted after 24 hours of completion of the service will not be acknowledged unless of prior agreement between Blocksave Ltd and the customer.
5.2: If Blocksave Ltd deem necessary complaints will be remedied in the form of one, and not more than one, visit to the specified area to re-clean and/or rectify any matter of complaint. As part of this agreement the customer must allow access to Blocksave Ltd for rectification of complaints.
5.3: Blocksave Ltd may take up to seven working days to acknowledge a complaint.
6. MISCELLANEOUS
6.1: All staff or contractors who work for and on behalf of Blocksave Ltd have been fully screened through a personal interview and checking of references and employment history.
7. Liability
7.1: Blocksave Ltd will not be held liable for any loose mortar, grout, stone, tarmac, cement that may or may not be dislodged throughout the clean.
7.2: Blocksave Ltd will not be held liable for failure to remove chewing gum from the specified area unless chewing gum removal has been agreed previously with the customer.
7.3: Blocksave Ltd will not be held liable for failure to remove lichen or lichen like organisms from the specified area unless lichen or lichen like removal has been agreed previously with the customer.
